First we need to decide to notice and acknowledge the positive.
Anxiety sufferers very often discount the times of the day when they feel better and even during these moments of relief, focus and dwell on the anxiety suffered at other times of the day. Notice when the anxiety eases off. Make a point of acknowledging it. Write down when it happens and how it feels. This will help you remember it.

Or even when we receive praise we often discount it and put ourselves down. Choose to accept the praise. Say Thank you. Enjoy the compliment.(However uncomfortable it may feel at first!).
There is one thing you can do, which will really improve your life. It will also stop you from discounting the positive.
Start noticing anything you appreciate.
Start small if you find it difficult.
I appreciate my friend, family….
I appreciate my dog, cat, pet……
I appreciate going for a walk, seeing nature….
I appreciate my hobby, my favourite food, good weather……
Do this as often as you can. Every day would be great!.
Write it down.
Make it a habit and change your life!
