A Sensitive Journey

This book is one of the sequels to ‘Over the bridge’. It is a journey, which Daisy takes to discover and learn about her sensitive temperament.

When Milo and Daisy returned, after their ‘Over the Bridge’ journey, to ‘Sandy Banks’, where they first met, they experienced a time of harmony and bliss. They were in love.

On the journey both had found their ‘diamonds’ their ‘centres’ giving them peace of mind. Now after the trials and tribulations of their journey they were able to enjoy each other’s company and revel in their love and new life together…..…

Daisy’s dream

Daisy woke yet again from another dream, in which she was searching for a stunningly beautiful place. Each time she woke the urge to find this place grew stronger within her.

Milo a real compliment……….It seemed important and thought stayed with her. It was more than a thought, it was a feeling, a deeper sense inside her. She had wondered whether she would be able to make a journey on her own. Milo had provided a source of strength and security when she journeyed over the Bridges before.

Did she have the strength and confidence to make the journey on her own? In the conversation with epic he had mentioned another C courage. Epic thought she had Courage and he was the wisest creature she knew. She would need courage to make this journey. Maybe she could do this. But where was she go. This beautiful place only existed in her imagination. Was it even real?

She also felt the added concern of seeing Milo’s discomfort at the thought of her leaving. She intuitively knew that he was trying to put on a brave face to try and be supportive. She felt guilty at the fact that their wonderful happiness would be disrupted. But still the inner calling to find her beautiful place was so strong.

So she posed the question to herself, “Where shall I go first on my journey?’..and waited for an answer.Normally, she would be attached to wanting to receive an answer quickly. However, she now felt a sense of calm determination that she could make the journey and this new found confidence permeated her state of mind and she surprised herself at her patience. Although she couldn’t help wondering if maybe the full realization of leaving had not yet sunk in.

She spent the afternoon in idle reverie until she was suddenly snapped out of her day dreams, on hearing a familiar but unusual sound..a chilp, chilp in the distance. She loved the sound of the chiffchaffs returning from their travels. This was the first one of the year and with its arrival, a name hit her like a gentle thunderbolt. Trudi, yes, Trudi, the wonderful chiffchaff, who helped her twice on her journey with Milo. That’s it she would look for Trudi. Trudi would know where she could find this ‘special place.’

Daisy spent the next few days preparing herself for her journey, a complete leap into the unknown. She also did not know where she would find Trudi. so she decided to go to the place where she first met her, on the other side of the oak tree. It did not seem a particularly logical decision Because the likelihood of Trudy still being there was very slim. But still, it gave her a direction to aim for and begin her journey. She also felt drawn to this place. Although she couldn’t tell whether it was simply nostalgia or something more. The day she left was a beautiful spring day The beautiful blue sky gave her hope and a sense of possibility. The time came for her to leave. They hugged and kissed, said their goodbyes and she left.
