The upset at leaving Milo made the first part of the journey difficult, but she decided she needed to focus on where she was going and she felt bouyed by her decision to visit an old friend, who lived on the route she was taking.She arrived at her friend’s late in the afternoon. Violet caught sight of her approaching rushed towards her and hugged her tightly.
