This is another book in the ‘Over the bridge’ book series. It is a beautiful and inspiring healing story about love. It is also a book, which shows how we can overcome the painful feelings that we often feel in intimate relationships, especially those of us who are sensitive.

Daisy’s leaving
When Milo and Daisy returned, after their ‘Over the Bridge’ journey, to ‘Sandy Banks’, where they first met, they experienced a time of complete bliss. They were totally in love.
On the journey both had found their ‘diamonds’ their ‘centres’ giving them peace of mind. Now after the trials and tribulations of their journey they were able to enjoy each other’s company and revel in their love for one another. They both felt like they were experiencing heaven on earth. This lasted for months.
Then one day Daisy told Milo about a dream she kept having. In her dream she was searching for a beautiful place. Each time she woke the urge to find this place grew stronger within her.
As soon as Milo heard this he felt gripped by an awful feeling. This feeling was the culmination of one that had been nagging at him for weeks, mirroring the time when Daisy was having her dream.
Unconsciously he had sensed the possibility of a parting coming and now he knew it would be a reality. Thoughts of her journey plagued him. How long would she be gone? Would she be safe? He even worried about whether she would come back, when he knew she would. His thoughts were causing him to feel a sense of loss, fear and pain. He also felt terrible conflict because he wanted to be supportive and happy for her but he was just too absorbed in how upset he felt.
He increasingly struggled to be positive about her upcoming journey and ironically it was almost a relief that she was leaving soon, despite his desperation for her to stay, because he would not have been able to keep up his emotional facade much longer.
He desperately wanted to send her on her way feeling positive and supported, but he kept dwelling on the fact that his ‘nirvana’ had been shattered.
The day came for Daisy to leave. They hugged and kissed, said their goodbyes and she was gone.
Milo sat there. He felt desolate.
As the days passed he felt his neediness grow and with it the pain, which now felt like he had lost her. So he kept making trips to their favourite places by the river where they had spent such wonderful times together in an attempt to feel closer to Daisy, but this was not really helping.
He wanted to withdraw but he realised he needed help, so he continued visiting different places in the vain hope that he would meet someone who could give him some advice and insight into his predicament.
